    I could use some song suggestions for the introduction of the family and bridal party to the reception.

    When Fi and I walk in, I want to have the Superman movie theme song playing. Fi is a huge Superman fan and I think it will be fun!

    I just have no idea what song to play before we walk in. I want something upbeat so that the bridal party will be pumped as they walk/dance into the reception. I don't want it to clash to much with the Superman theme, but I do want something different so there is that element of surprise.

    Any ideas?

    We're using the Superman Movie theme also. :)  Almost went with Star Wars though.  Hmm, I haven't thought about the Bridal party's entrance yet either... dang, and I thought all the music decisions were made.

    Guess I'll have to get back to you!

    @ItsPronounced_ABear: Nice! Reception music twins!

    Anyone have any suggestions? A song the bridesmaids and groomsmen can dance in with, which can then fade into the opening strains of SUPERMAN! (I'm feeling a little giddy today.)

    Not sure, but the Superman theme is pretty cute! Is this a trend now since that couple had their party dance into the wedding to a Chris Brown song?

    We went to a wedding recently and the dj played a sound bit that the bride/groom picked out for each person.

    I laughed so hard sprite came out of my nose. :) It fit her very very well.

    @sparrowly: Still no brilliant ideas.  I don’t know why but I just keep trying to find a way to work “Dreams” by the Cranberries into it somewhere.  I just like the song, it feels like a soundtrack for a chick flick. :)  Not sure how it would gel with Superman, but it’s a subtle enough song that everyone could still hear the DJ announce the bridal party's names.  I dunno.  The FI vetoed using it for our recessional.

    For the record, our other music looks like this:

    • Processional- Love Story by Taylor Swift (piano only)
    • Bridal Entrance- Butterfly Waltz
    • Sand Ceremony (duet)- I See the Light from the movie Tangled
    • Recessional- Accidentally in Love (our dating song!)
    • First Dance (also a live duet)- Lucky by Jason Mraz/Colbie Calliat
