So right after the night of the wedding we are actually staying on the property (which is a Bed and Breakfast during the week) – its literally a few feet from the reception tent. I wasn’t sure what to do about an Exit? Getaway car that takes us down the street? Just kinda wave goodbye to everyone and walk up to the house?? Anyone else had this situation or any ideas on what to do?

We got married at a resort where we also stayed that night. Our grand exit was totally anticlimactic but I honestly didn’t care. 11pm rolled around and we just kind of left with whoever was still there until the end. No fancy car or sparklers, just walked out, hopped on the elevator and went to our room.

My SIL had your typical exit with sparklers but were actually staying at the hotel where the reception took place. They had the driver just drive around a for a little bit before coming back and sneaking up to their room.
We had the same scenario but decided not to do an exit….instead of leaving we just migrated to the hotel bar with everyone else haha and then headed up to our room around midnight, at that time we kinda just went around to everyone who was still partying it up and said thanks and goodnight.

I think we might go with the low-key exit, I really like that!
