I’m looking for a bit of input. I’m making up gift bags for the two kids at our wedding reception, FIs cousins (both girls, aged 7 and 8). I’m struggling to think what could go in them as there are no young kids in my family and we only see the girls a few times a year! I just don’t want them to get bored and feel left out. So what can I put in the bags, any suggestions would be amazing!
I’m also going on the assumption that their 14 year old sister will NOT want a gift bag, seem sensible?

I’m also very aware that this is my second gift bag post in about 10 minutes…. sorryyyyy 🙂

Crayons, cololring books, paper, simple games like tic-tac-toe, stuff that will keep them busy.

@KatM2014: if the 14 year old is the only other person under 18 there, unless she’s a super mature 14 year old who thinks she’s 21 I would probably do one for her (or have an extra just in case). I would have colouring books, crayons (I don’t care – you’re never too old for crayons), maybe a deck of cards…disposable camera (unless these are the type of kids who each have their own smartphone….)

@MsGinkgo: I think the 14 year old is pretty old for her age, and her older cousin (20) who she spends lots of time with normally, will be there, so I was thinking of maybe doing something like disposable cameras, maybe a magazine or two? Something like that to pop on the table, just incase!

I was just thinking the same thing today! Although I will probably be making a basket of this kind of stuff. We will have 5 or 6 kids under the age of 10 at our wedding. I agree coloring books, crayons, maybe their favorite candy or something. Little things that will mean something to them!
