my friend did that for their wedding and it was A LOT of fun! they actually had two imacs set up near the entrance (at the ceremony and later at the reception). two friends were stationed at the "booth" to invite guests over to take pictures and to explain how it worked.

It's great to see photos of it, looks like they had fun with it! My fiance is an electrical engineer, so he's big into pc's and not a big mac fan, so it may take a bit of coercing to get him to go along with it! haha
This is such an awesome idea! I think the guests will have lotsa fun with it.
I have a MacBook Pro and only thought of showing a slideshow with it. It didn't even dawn on me to use the photobooth app. duh!

Hi everyone,
I was in charge of taking photos of guests as they arrived to a good friend's wedding and let me tell you, it was a huge pain and ended up being a huge hassle for us and the guests. (It was with just a digital camera that had too small of a card, plus they wanted to designate spots in the guest book to coordinate with the photos which took way too much time.)
That being said, I recently got a brand new imac and it just registered to me that the photobooth application could potentially be used to take photos of guests at your reception as they arrive, has anyone thought about using this or has used it? What are your thoughts?
