go to officemax or whatever and get a bulk pack of decent looking pens. you don't have to get the cheapo bics, but plenty of pens look just fine.
this is a place to step back and remind yourself that none of your guests will notice what the pen they're writing with looks like.
You could always get goosefeather pens(not those big fluffy ostrich feathers), but as kitzy has already said, this is a detail that will make no difference to your guests. I would just get pens in a color I liked that had a nice fine point.
I love pens; but I'm thinking my guests probably won't care. I bought pens I found @ Ross stores, TJ Maxx, Michael's, Staples, all scrapbooking type pens; I think I'll also throw in some Gelly Roll pens, I have a few with feathers... just an odd assortment. Figure guests can have fun going through the baskets if they care, if not, whatever comes to hand first.
I think you're right guests won't. Care. But I will. I lie your idea of letting ppl choose Color, I may need to invest in some pretty pens

I need help thinking an idea for dressing up ink pens. I need to have a stock at the reception so people can use for our guestbook/cards. I want them to take them with them to the table - or even some at the table to..
I don't just want to set Bic pens out though.
I thought about wrapping a fake flower to each - but I don't care for that idea for the wedding at this point.
I thought about wrapping each pen with ribbon in our colors - not a bad idea, just will be time consuming.
Any one have good ideas on the cheap?
