Are you having an indoor or outdoor reception? If it's an outdoor reception, lawn games are always fun! A full on DJ may be a waste of you don't think people will dance, but you'll still want to have music of some sort as background noise... and you never know, you may get some people dancing!
i would like some background music of some sort, doing indoor ceremony at the chapel and reception in the old mill , its very pretty there is a garden for reception to but october in canada isnt the greatest weather hehehe
Agree with ktdid23 - lawn games are tons of fun. If indoors, music is a definite. You may not want to spring for a DJ, but an iPod may work (or pre-made CDs even). To keep people entertained, how about a trivia quiz? It could be interesting questions about the area, your families, you, even other guests, depending on how well people know one another.
i was definitely thinking an ipod stereo since we have a great obne we use for parties but i also dont want it to seem too "tacky" or "cheap"?maybe a simple small band?
