Our wedding is in early January and our colors are black and white. Maybe a little silver. No accent color. We live in Hawaii so no wintery themes would work since it will be 70 degrees outside. . .
Any ideas for a simple / modern yet clean and elegant theme??

You could incorporate some black & white damask pattern maybe? That’ll add some visual interest without having an accent color 🙂

I agree wiht Krgk84-there are some great patterns black and white patterns you can use that would make a great theme for the wedding. You could even make it a tropical type black and white. You could also do a beautiful monogram as well. I think white is a great color for a wedding, very classic and clean. You can do so much with it and if you did use silver, you could use it as an accent in the flowers and in the invitations as well.

You can pick a pattern or a mongram to incorporate into your ceremony and reception. It will help you to be creative and have your own theme.

I think we’ll have black tablecloths and chairs, maybe white napkins. Centerpieces will be a round mirror with about 5-7 votives (clear glass with white candles) and a 10" glass cylinder with mini black river rocks filled with water and either a single white mini calla lily or two entwined together with a white floating cangle on top. I wanted to keep things simple and minimalist vs flowery and ornate. I’m also going to have silver diamond confetti scattered on the tables. Still trying to figure out how to incorporate white paper lanterns as I love that look!
