I am having difficulty finding a nice reception hall in Columbus, OH to fit my budget. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am expecting 125 guests. I would like to find a venue that is $800 or less for at least 5 hours of rental (plus additional time for set-up). Now here's the glitch - I want to find somewhere that will allow us to bring in our own alcohol.
I visited the Grand Dale Valley Ballroom and fell in love with it but the host bar minimum is way out of our price range. The bar minimum on a Friday night is over $2,600. Yikes! Double Yikes!!
I am trying to keep food and beverages/alcohol cost under $3,000.
If anyone has ever had their reception at the Grand Dale Valley Ballroom, and they paid way less than what their advertised rates are, please contact me. I would love to talk to you to see how you were able to do this.
Sincerely,
Venessa
