    i have already picked a church in birmingham Mi. and am looking for a reception location near by. I need a location that can hold about 250 people. so Mi ladies please let me know if you have any ideas

    i know the townsend hotel is a hot spot in birmingham, absolutely beautiful... but they are on the pricey end...

    The Troy Marriott is beautiful and not too expensive.

    I am also looking for a venue in the Flint or Detroit metro area.. at this point, I don't really care where! I need a venue for 300+ people that will allow us to do our own catering. I have been looking for ages and can't find anything :/ If anyone has ANY ideas, it would be much appreciated!

    @sarajade: unfortunatly we are in the same boat although i only need space for 200-250 guests it has become very difficult to find anything good luck in your search

    I have looked into the townsend and it was exactly what i am looking for however they could not accomidate fir the amount of guests on that date and i have already commited to a certain day

    Check out the crofoot in pontiac--it's awesome..but it's definitely not traditional!
