Hey Suz,
Congrats and woah! Your date is so close!

We had a mixture of oldies that everyone seemed to enjoy like Burt Bacarach (all that music from My Best Friend’s Wedding) etc. We threw in a lot of our favourites but we basically stuck to things we know we’ll always love. That said, I can’t remember hearing any of it in hindsight lol

We didn’t have the bridal toss ourselves but we just went to a wedding where they played a pop song I think by beyonce? and it was actually really fun because it reignited the vibe of the night.

Hey, this sounds really random but have you found your videographer? Would you be up for a free one if not? My close friends who both are professionals and shoot amazing stuff are looking for a free wedding to shoot in the next few weeks during a lull? I can send you their fb and vids if you’re interested

either way, let us know what you pick for music!

Um, I think you may be overthinking this a bit.  My wedding is next week and I have never heard of people picking a song for the garter toss, cake cutting, or tossing the bouquet.  lol, I know there are songs for your first dance, brides entrance, bridal party entrance, father/daughter song, but I haven’t heard of those other songs for the other parts of the reception.  Maybe just use google for those songs.  I would suggest though any slow music for those.
