That looks more like 15 feet high. Most standard ceilings are 10 feet and that looks about 1.5 stories talle.

How about some cascading lanterns in the corners.

And on the cake table use upside down bowls to create different heights under the cloth. 

You dont want to take up too much room of the space so people can mingle and sit. Hopefully you are having some seating and tables people can put their drinks/cake down on.

And you can make nice wall hangings across the walls like this

@agillaspia:  Great, then the tabes gives you some space to do some more decorating. Something tal lin the middle will give lots of drama. 

It could be a simple vase with a tall peacock feather or some branches. They can be bough online cheap. You can buy vases and spray paint them the same color from the thrift shop
