So, my reception venue basically has two rooms that are connected, one room is much larger than the second, but they connect and look great open together and flow nicely. The coordinator wanted to know how we wanted things set up, then basically comes back with an email telling us how the opposite would be better, completely disregarding all of the reasons of why we wanted it set up a certain way.
I mean seriously why would you have dancing and the party in the small room and leave the large room for people to sit and visit, just doesn’t make sense to me. After dinner, the dancing is the main thing going on, doesn’t make much sense to me to push it to the back. I guess I am just super frustrated because we already voiced how we wanted it when we visited in person also. I’m not a bridezilla but damn it we have reasons for wanting it a certain way, and apparently those reasons are just not being listened to. I just think it’s incredibly dumb to stick the dj and dancing/party in the smaller room. Please tell me I am not crazy lol.
