Reception Planning Woes

Ughhhh I had to deal with this with our venue, too. Thankfully they got a new coordinator who is an angel. The lady before her had zero experience and lasted three months. Gee, I wonder why?

And people wonder why brides have freak outs?  The reception is the biggest and most detailed part and people who end up being incompitent drive me bonkers!!

So so sorry! Maybe you can just go up there!!!? It might be time for a bridezilla moment. Our venue coordinator is so rude and thoughtless I feel like I’m due for one.

@marfi236:  If she continues to fail to respond, contact the General Manager ( as long as you are giving her a reasonable timeframe to respond).

@marfi236:  Saturday and Monday basically count as one contact, given that even if she was working Saturday, there was likely a function scheduled. If she did work Saturday she likely had Monday off.

I would give her at least until Thursday or Friday without emailing or phoning again, unless you are trying to deal with something that absolutely must be finalized this week.
