I already made ceremony programs (and I love how they turned out!) I was just wondering, what do you think about reception programs? Especially since we do plan to keep it moving, no long breaks in between eating and toasts or anything. Did/ are you doing reception programs?

@Tigerlilybride: I think that would be fine to give to the bridal party and vendors, but handing out reception programs to your guests sounds strange to me. Do you have an idea of what it would say?

I know a lot of people are attached to the idea of reception programs for all people in attendance. Myself, I plan on creating programs for the bridal party and the vendors. I’ll post the program information in one place for guests to view.
My experience is that while a few people save the programs as mementos, 95% of them end up littering the venue floor within about thirty minutes or an hour.

@Tigerlilybride: What would you put on them? What would the purpose be? I don’t think guests need a walkthrough of the reception, maybe you could do a menu/thank you for being here card if you want something at their place setting?

It would’ve just been the times of all the events at the reception. But I think that intead I’m going to put some trivia questions about us and our relationship. Maybe like 2 per table sopeople can work together and get to know each other.
