I’ve seen previous posts about an online resource for planning out your table setup/seating chart electronically. I can’t seem to find those posts – does anybody know where I’d be able to find something like that?

Hmm, for the post threads I’m not really sure. But I’ve been using the seating chart from brides.com myself. It’s under the tools tab.

I haven’t used it yet, but I know BB&B has one. I plan on checking it out when the time comes.

http://www.weddingwire.com has one, as well as http://www.floorplanner.com/. They have a “party/event” type, so you can add tables, bars, cake tables, etc. So fun!!

Martha Stewart has one on her wedding site as well.

I plan on going old school. I am going to get a board, and place large circles with table numbers on the board. Then I am going to write everyone’s name on a post-it note, and start placing them on the board! Then I can move people around from table to table with ease! I’m hoping that the visuals will make it more fun than stressful!

I used the Martha Stewart one, available on her website and was pretty happy with it. The one thing I would recommend in using it is that each time you finish making changes or are ready to close out your browser after working on your chart, generate a seating report and have it emailed to yourself. It’s pretty easy, you go to the little printer and click on export and email seating chart.

I used Perfect Table Plan… it was about $30, I think but it was worth it for my 300+ guests!
