We used that song from rent. Ahh...you know "How do you measure a year in the life...it's all about love"
I made this for my mom and used "Love Grows Wild" by Buddy Miller. I don't normally like country, but I really liked the song. I also used "Whatever it Is" by the Zac Brown Band towards the end.
If I was making a slideshow today for SO & I, I would use "Home" by edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros. It's my favorite song right now, makes me cry :(.
Terrified by Katharine McPhee described our feelings well. We used it in a video that we ended up showing at our reception!

I will soon be starting on my wedding slideshow to play at my reception, and I need a little help finding the perfect song for my fiance's portion of pictures growing up. I have made other slideshows for weddings and used the songs My Wish- Rascal Flats, Once When I was Little- Craig Morrison, and The Best Day of My Life - George Straight.
These are all wonderful songs, but I want to see if you ladies have any other ideas. Thought maybe you guys have stumbled across something that I haven't. My reception playlist includes jack johnson, dave barnes and ben harper to give you an idea of the style I am going for. I am using Mama's song by Carrie Underwood for my portion. Gorgeous song!
