(Closed) Reception Style

It sounds like our receptions will be similar.  We’re expecting about 60 people (we don’t have children, and this will be a kids-free wedding.)  We’re not big partiers either.  Our venue is in a nice restaurant in a “ballroom”- small, but lots of light and pretty.

We’ll have background music too, but we’ll also have a board game table.  We’re also doing lunch, so it should be a shorter reception.  There will also be speeches, as well as people who don’t see each other often, so lots of chatting and catchin up.

What you’re doing sounds lovely!  You should do what’s right for you : )

@cath3114:  We’re also having an iPod reception without dancing. I think if you and your FI do what best represents who you are as a couple, the guests will enjoy it no matter what!! It’s your special day. 🙂
