I know that there has been posts on this, but i want to see what your reception timeline looks like. I’m trying to put one together, but i don’t the reception to drag and my guests get bored. Please show me yours 🙂

We’re letting the DJ dictate some things for us – I think that works better than having set “times” for things. When we need break the dancing for something, he’ll find a good break in the songs/energy/etc for it.
That said, when we arrive we’re introducing the wedding party and bride and groom and then going straight into the first dance and two parent dances. Then Fiance and I will start the buffet line, eat quickly and mingle around all the other tables so we can talk with all of our guests. Toasts will also occur during dinner. After dinner, dancing will start. We’ll break in the dancing at some point to do the cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss and then go right back in to dancing. And we’ll be dancing until they kick us out!
