The reception venue we went to go look at today is really nice but the only thing im concerned with is the reception hours. They offer there venue from 4pm to 12am and the fees are $2500 for 100 people and it includes everything except the centerpieces. My concern is that the hours are very long and not everyone will be staying til midnight so im thinking about emailing them to see if we can cut the hours to 6pm to 10pm/11pm. I think the ceremony will be from 4-5pm then the reception.. The ceremony will be in Downey and the reception in Whittier. Would 1 hr be good enough for everyone to make it there? I just dont want to pay for the venue if no ones going to be there til 6pm..

Don't forget, you are going to need time to set up and clean up too, you don't want to cut yourself too short on time!

@sweetlikcake:  What place is that?  That's amazing pricing! I'm looking for places for my daughter.

That sounds like a great deal, you don't have to lift a finger basically! I would say take it! And you know your friends and family more than anyone on the hive, I know in my circle of friends its going to be hard to shut down the party at midnight, but thats as late as they'll stay open. If you think 10-11 is late enough, then ask what they can do for you!
