I’m cutting it super close and trying to get some MAJOR planning done in a little over 2.5 months. My dream reception location is at the Stonegate Mansion in Ft. Worth but it may be out of the budget… I work full-time and have a 17 month old to chase around when I’m not so it’s been incredibly difficult to tour more venues lately.
Does anyone have suggestions of reception venues in Ft. Worth that would be around $6,000 (before alcohol).
I’d love any suggestions that you have and if you have pictures to share that would be even better! We’re getting married at the Marty Leonard Chapel.

Not sure how much it cost. Im sure you could email them but I thought this place was pretty online http://www.rosechapel.org/ They have an outdoor area to get married too if thats what your looking for.

YWCA is nice, any of the downtown hotels are beautiful, and the Chateau at Forest Park has these all inclusive packages that include everything but the groom. Very budget friendly.

@casjojo: That’s we’re getting married.
It is very pretty and resonably priced (~3000 for 7 hours total on a Saturday for the chapel and the ballroom). They don’t have their own catering but they have a list of recommended vendors that (all in good taste, on their list is also resonably priced.)
The ballroom fits 120 or so with room for dancing (important to us) and there is a reception room if you want to have a buffet in there.
The ladies who organize things there are really nice (combined FH and I have gone there for First Friday Dances for 8 years.)

Bass Hall! No joke. That is where I am having mine and for 7 hours we get the use of the recital halls and our ceremony is in the grand lobby on the staircase. Gorgeous! And we are having ours on a Sunday which means for both of those (plus 2 hours set up time and 2 hours tear down) it is only $3,300. So WAY under your price range and totaly worth it. And that is for two rooms. If you only want the one room for the reception (and the Van Claiburn Recital hall is so beautiful it is to die for!) it will cost a lot less. The only difference between them and some other places is you will have to find vendors to provide food and lenins. But even that is falling way under budget for us and certainly would fall under your budget.
