Hi ladies! Darling Husband used some canned tomatoes in a recipe last night and I promised him I’d use the rest tonight in something for dinner. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I’d usually do something with a mexican flair but we just had fajitas last night. We like to eat a lot of chicken but we also have ground turkey, shrimp and tilapia in the house as options.

Gumbo? You could do a version of gumbo. I am not a canned tomato person so I am sorry I could not help more. The only other thing I can think of is spaghetti with ground turkey.

Add seasoning to the ground turkey and make meatballs (or mini meatballs). Use the crushes tomatoes to make a tomato sauce. Add pasta.
Or make stuffed shells with tomatos, cheese and ground seasoned turkey.
Or meatball subs in the oven. Slice hoagie rolls or whatever bread you like; slather with seasoned garlic crushed tomatos, seasoned turkey and cheese. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-14 minutes and BAM homemade toasted subs.
Lasagna is a great options. Bruscetta too.

Stuffed peppers! I made these a few months back and they were amazing. Sounds like you could sub in something in place of tomato soup, and use your ground turkey instead of ground beef. They look so pretty too 🙂

This is one of our favorite things to eat and it’d be great with sauteed canned tomatoes thrown in.
