I think that popcorn is relatively healthy. Yogurt might be good too.
I do cheese sticks, turkey pepperoni, 100 calorie packs, and popcorn.
I do popcorn. I like the little bags you can buy now, that have like a third the amount as a regular bag. I have a Whirly-pop I use at home, so I can control what goes in, and I prefer the taste. Am also a fan of hummus and pita chips (or carrots, but then there's the raw veggie thing..) Or trail mix or roasted almonds.
I like hummus with pretzels (or baby carrots), 100 calorie packs, Pop Chips (a slightly healthier chip option) and salsa or guac with pretzels/pita pieces/chips.
Greek Yogurt! String Cheese! Wheat thins!
@IAmLemondrop:They make little cups of apple sauce that are great also I sometimes eat a little cups of pickles. Both have very few calories and hit the spot for me for my afternoon snack. For an evening snack I have a strawberry juice bar that is 80 calories and yummy.
I like to have plain unsalted rice cakes and put peanut butter on them. If you use one tablespoon of the reduced fat PB, each rice cake is about 110 calories, plus you get the protein from the PB. Yum!
one slice of wheat bread with reduced fat peanut butter and bannana on it...super fills u up and is full of healthy proteins and stuff,
I LOVE wasa crackers - the thin and crispy ones with babybell light wedges or peanut butter
greek yogurt - I just had the trader joes honey nonfat greek yogurt - awesome!
microwavable cups of soup
I really like eating hardboiled eggs. I second the Fiber One bars--just make sure to drink water with them! You can also get a 90 calorie version that is a little...ahem...easier on the digestive system.
I also love these frozen fruit bars that I get at the grocery store. Strawberry is my favorite! The more protein and fiber you can get, the more full you will feel.
Good luck! I am enjoying hearing everyone's healthy snack suggestions!
I eat a bowl of cereal, cheese and crackers, rice crackers (they make really tasty ones by Quaker now), mixed nuts, granola bars, peanut butter crackers, pretzels and hummus
No one has mentioned laughing cow cheese yet. It's the best! It would go with anything above.
@IAmLemondrop: I know you mentioned you eat nuts but are concerned about fat. The fat in nuts is healthy fat and they should leaving you feeling full for longer than lots of things. I sometimes don't feel that satisfied while I'm eating them, so maybe adding a small piece of cheese would help. I always eat 15 almonds. I literally count each time. I don't know where I read it, but somewhere said this was a proper serving size.
I just bought the best microwaveable oatmeal but the oats are old-fashioned and whole (unlike Quaker). It's 120 calories and delicious!!! (I buy Maple flavor). I don't remember the brand, but it is a tall skinny package where you actually use the package to get the right amount of water each time. Love it!
@ dance- LOVE the rice crackers with peanut butter!!
Stay away from 100 calorie packs, they are full of empty calories. The only decent one is the popcorn one. You get a huge serving and has fiber so it leaves you full!

Other ideas: Low-fat string cheese, Chobani greek yogurt, Fiber One bars (I try to stay away from "diet bars" because they are full of crap but these aren't too bad and taste great), Cliff Bars
Here is a list I made for something
Other ideas... tuna made with greek yogurt instead of mayo, premade chicken cubes (I always keep it in my fridge) heated with a little bit of red hot and a few crumbles of bleu cheese (like a buffalo wing),
I love the Quaker mini rice cakes. The BBQ and ranch are my favorite flavors! They taste just like flavored potato chips! But they are all carbs, so they won't be as filling as protein. Maybe a few of these and a piece of cheese!
@keepsmiling19: honestly, the fiber one bars are glorified candy bars with HFCS. Slightly better in sugar, but at the end of the day its all processed foods. I prefer to stick with whole foods.
Greek Nonfat Yogurt
Walnuts *just a small handful!(
Lite string cheese
No-pudge brownies (one - LOL - good luck on that one)
Hummus with multi-grain crackers
Del Monte Frozen Fruit Sorbets (yeah I knbow, fruit, but it tastes like a popsicle!)
Nonfat frozen yogurt. I consider Turkey Hill's Nonfat Frozen Chocolate Marshmallow to be proof that God loves me and wants me to be happy!
@lefeymw: Wow that's really specific! That's awesome that you list the calories like that. For some of those you really get a lot of food for few calories.
I've been eating a lot of 100 calorie packs and those 1 and 2 point Weight Watchers bars and chips. I know they aren't really the best thing to be eating though. They all have a lot of salt and the sugar in some of those makes me crash in the afternoon.
It's embarrassing to be dozing off in meetings at work because I ate something with to much sugar. And it’s just as bad to be sitting there with my stomach making sound effects.
@Mrs Green Grass: As far as the nuts, I think I just need to get more specific with how many I eat. Counting out a specific amount seems like a really good idea. I’ll try it with the cheese next time since I don’t always feel satisfied after I’m finished with them.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Hummus & crackers/pretzels!
Wholly Guacamole has 100 calorie packs that you could possibly also eat with cracker/pretzels/baked chips.
Nuts like almonds or cashews with a cheesestick or mini babybel cheese wheels.

Hummus is really good and has a lot of fiber. I eat it with pretzels or pretzel chips. Popcorn too (assuming it isn't drenched in butter) is also pretty good for you with a lot of fiber, too.
I really like jello for an afternoon snack, I also make baked oatmeal (you can modify most recipes so they are firm and can be cut into bars) which I eat in place of dessert
Check out this awesome link... it has 100 healthy snacks under 200 calories each. Almost all of them look delicious!! :)

Lately I'm really into rice cakes spread with no-sugar-added jelly. super sweet and crunchy, but still low calorie.

Well, I just inhaled a bag of chips as I was waiting to get out of work which leaves me with 120 calories for dinner… So I need some help bees. I need some work snack ideas that aren’t vegetables or fruit. I have a very sensitive stomach (I think I had an ulcer) so anything overly greasy, raw fruits and vegetables, and un-toasted bread make my stomach ache worse than the hunger pangs.
I eat cooked veggies and salads and fruits only when I’m eating something else. So when I’m having my morning yogurt, I can eat a banana or apple. Or I can have a small salad with my dinner, just not by itself.
Any snacking ideas? I need something to tide me over between breakfast-lunch and lunch-dinner. I’ve been eating almonds and other nuts but they are so high in fat that I’m eating a lot of them before I’m not hungry anymore.
