Cancun MX. The beach and ocean are absolutley BEAUTIFUL. The people are friendly and hardworking. There is a ton to do. Or you can just relax. I love it there! Going again in 24 days!
I used to live in Italy and will say that Capri is definitely my favorite place cause it is so beautiful. For our honeymoon we went to Cozumel MX and stayed at the Aura Wyndham and we had an amazing time. The hotel was beautiful, food was awesome and the service was great. We will definitely go back sometime. I am now hoping to go to either Tahiti or Fiji for our 5 year anniversary, I'm starting to save up for....lol.
If you want to go to a beach location in Europe, then i recommend Santorini. Nice beaches, some even have black sand and Oia is the quintessential Greek town (white buildings with blue dome roofs). If that's too far, then i suggest somewhere in the Caribbean. We're going on a cruise to four different Caribbean islands.
Greece is gorgeous.... and santorini is AMAZING! I did a little cruise around the Greek eIslands when I was there years ago, and would completely go back for a honeymoon-- But my FI and I have traveled quite a bit together (and apart) and decided to go somewhere neither of us has been.
Sevilla, Spain is also on my must return with husband to be at some point-- Loads of culture!!
I love Victoria, BC - such a wonderful laid back island! Prague is also beautiful (and there are a lot of great airfare deals right now).
concur with cannot wait --- would def go back to costa rica! i wrote a whole series on it if you search for it. paris as well!
I really enjoyed Barcelona and Grenada in Spain. Utila, an island in Honduras, was beautiful and fun for snorkeling. Costa Rica was great, and I hope to go there again with my fiance some day. And, I can never get enough of Paris, but Leon, France was a fun surprise find too. One of my favorite spots is Whistler, BC and the surrounding area in the summer time. It is very pretty up there, and there's tons to do (especially if you're adventurous).
I love the bahamas! Nassau/Paradise Island and Atlantis is one of my all time favorites. I also love the out islands and grand bahama. Water is so lovely and very laid back (except for Atlantis).
I love Puerto Rico also. Hiking El Yunque is amazing!
Other favorites are mayan riviera, Key West, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and the deep southern coast of the US (think Savannah, the Golden Isles, Charleston).

Hi hive!
I'd love to hear your recommendations about great travel destinations as we begin brainstorming about where to honeymoon. We haven't planned anything formal yet, but I'm open to all options and would like to hear where you've been that you loved.
Have you been to a city or town that you would recommend? Have you found an off-the-map destination that you'd love to return to?
