    Hi fellow bay area brides,

I'm in the process of looking for a florist and would love to know which florists you'd recommend in the area, preferrably in the peninsula.

    Thanks!

    My florist is Karen Chang

     http://huckleberrykaren.blogspot.com/

She is SO SWEET and very affordable!   I was BLOWN away by her quote.  You can check out her work on your blog and have her send you a proposal.  Shes just a wonderful gal, above all.

    GL!

I am a DIY bride who is doing my own flowers. I took a long course at CCSF and I have done a few trials and I think it's do-able and a whole lot cheaper than the quotes I got from around the area (I live in San Bruno) I also think(not to toot my own horn) I have a better "look" in my trials than the pics I was sent from some of the more discounted smaller floral shops around the peninsula and City. My flowers with high vases $28, quote $60-$75.

My wedding is in Feb.08 and I plan on having high arrangements( 30 inch eiffle towers vases filled with White roses and seeded eucalyptus and lemon leaf) a few topiaries, and a lot of scatterd arrangments through out the bar  area and coctail tables.  I am making all boutineers and bouquets as well as the ceremony arrangements.

Buying everything witha flower badge for a discount at the flower mart in SF. Doing everything 2 days before.

If you want some help or to take a look at my pics let me know.

    Good Luck!

    Hi nancEE,

I live in the bay area and I actually have a few recs. :)

My florist was: Stacey Miller. She's based in San Mateo. she also did our DOC for an additional amount. she was really sweet, easy to work with, and everything turned out just lovely: http://www.staceymillerdesigns.com

I also inquired with these folks as well:

    Nicole Ha: http://www.nicoleha.com/
Nicole was booked for our wedding date already but is known to do really great florals at a reasonable price

    Pico Soriano: http://www.picodesign.com/
He's done a ton of weddings in the peninsula. He's based in redwood city/redwood shores and was around the same price as Stacey when we inquired with him, but we wanted someone to do our DOC along with the flowers, so we ultimately went with Stacey.

    Hope that helps!
