We're using Timeless Treasure films (http://timelesstreasuresvideo.com/) and they're based out in Long Island. Ray is really sweet, helpful, and patient with any questions you may have. I thought he was pretty affordable by New York standards, especially since his packages are so comprehensive.

Timeless Treasures!! I'm using them. Ray is great and responds very fast. I'm taking a risk with them b/c the deposit is nonrefundable but I absolutely love his work. I asked him to make a package for me (with no bridal preparation, only 4 hours of shooting) and he cut $800 off the basic package. He is pretty affordable for a videographer as well.

I used Ray from Timeless Treasures as well. He's a really nice guy and completely unobtrusive on your wedding day. Unless we looked for him - we didn't even know he was there! I don't have my footage back yet but anything I've ever seen from his has been great!

I'm not sure about a DJ, but as for a videographer try Cly Creation.

You should make an appoinment with at least 3 videographers and review a full wedding video and then choose the best one for the best price. ( thats what i did)

The name of the videographer / Editor is Jonathan Henry

You can visit him in his studio in Queens and review the more amaizing weddings you'll ever seen.

I highly recommend Chris and his team of people from Dynasty Weddings.... www.dynastyweddings.com He's got a great group of people working for him and I hired him to DJ and MC my wedding. Good Luck!

The DJ im using is event solutions, they're located in flushing but may have another office in LI. I've been at 2 weddings they worked at and they're fantastic, they also have video service

I believe the package for 5hrs music with emcee and event mgr and favors is about $1800

One other way is to ask your photographer. I have heard it is important the videographer and photographer get along so they aren't in each other's way or fighting about the lighting.

My photographer (David Cross) suggested Steven Taub. He is very reasonable but doesn't do any of the bells and whistles - which is exactly what we wanted!
