Have you tried Men's Wearhouse? I don't do much shopping for menswear, but I think they carry larger sizes. Also some department stores like Macys and Nordstrom can order the larger sizes for you and ship them to your house even if they don't have them in store, as long as the style you choose is available in those sizes.
Just in case any of you are having the same problem, thought I'd post how we resolved this ...
As it turned out Men's Wearhouse didn't have any matching grey pants and vests, and Macy's and Nordstrom's didn't carry large enough sizes.
Fortunately J. Crew was able to custom make a XXL tall vest for our largest groomsman. It takes 6-8 weeks for the entire process, and the purchase is non-refundable, but we're so happy we found something that everyone will be able to wear. Thank you J. Crew!

Hello Hive -
Can anyone give me a recommendation for where to find grey vests and slacks for our groomsmen? They range in size from a medium to a tall XXL which is proving really hard to find from one company. Looking for a cotton vintage style (i.e. not something shiny that looks like it belongs under a tux).
My inspiration is here ... unfortunately JCrew doesn't do a tall XXL =(.
