We just got the link to our full set of (736!) wedding pics, and are so thrilled with them! Unfortunately, if we were to order a professional album from our photographer, we’d be spending hundreds of dollars. I’ve seen decent photo books made with Snapfish/Shutterfly before and I’m sure they’re a fraction of the cost. Can anyone recommend a service they’ve used to put together an affordable wedding album? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

We used Snapfish for our mini album (that we showed to people after the wedding), and I put 300 pictures into an album by hand for our actual album!

@BrandNewBride: Can you add music to it?

@BrandNewBride: Thanks for sharing! Were you happy with the Snapfish album, or would you recommend going the handmade route for gifts for our parents?? I think I will for sure use an online service to get a book to show friends/family over the holidays.

@Cassiopeia: I think they were PERFECT as gift albums! The pictures were nice and big, you could do some interesting lay-outs, and they were really cheap! And the coupons were amazing.
I actually have two albums– my Snapfish album of family/friends pics from the whole weekend, and the album I made from the pictures I ordered off Snapfish (the 300 pro pics!) and hand-mounted in an album I got online.
I like having the Snapfish one to show off and bring with me when we visit people who couldn’t make it to the wedding!

@Cassiopeia: I asked the same thing a few days ago – I got a lot of helpful answers
I’ve looked at most of them. So far, I have put together my book using Blurb. I tried to do one with Artisan State last night but the upload feature wasn’t working for me, and i couldn’t drag and drop. I’m going to have to have another go at it, maybe with a different browser. I do like the layout options and the books look wonderful.
