There's a new cupcake place in downtown La Jolla (on Girard) called Cups. I've only walked by, so I can't tell you how they taste, but it would be worth checking out. Also you might want to check Michelle Coulon.
the only traffic will be going in and out of downtown. i live in Bankers Hill area just north of downtown and its never bad here. traffic is only bad early in the morning and when it lets out. most people walk there from hotels in the downtown area. your vendors shouldnt have trouble at all.
Thanks ClairD! We ended up choosing Sweet Cheeks Bakery. Should be fine.
I love sweet cheeks!! Elaine is so adorable! they're doing my cake as well.

We are having our wedding at the Estancia La Jolla and unfortunately Comic-Con is the same weekend so I am concerned about using vendors that have to travel very far who might get stuck in traffic. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cupcake bakery?? Thanks!
