someone brought in leftover birthday cake from their kid’s birthday that was from BJ’s.  it was pretty good as far as cakes go.  i believe it was customized.

We’ve gotten cake from Whole Foods for a few of my niece’s and nephew’s birthday parties and they’re really good!

I’ve never had a wedding cake from them, but I love the Whole Foods bakery. I’ve brought pastries in for birthdays at the office, and everyone loves them. If you have a Publix in your area, their bakery is great too.

Whole Foods has great cakes, but you could also get a small fancy cake to cut and sheet cake from Costco if you’re looking to save on cost.

Do you have a Rosauer’s?  Probably not because they’re only in Washington/Idaho/Montana …. but here’s a plug for their bakery anyway!  Really fantastic!  They are making my shower cake 🙂

leprechaura:  Can you get a little round cake to cut that would be pretty but then have the costco sheet cake hidden in the kitchen to cut and serve to guests? Because no lie, Costco cakes are delicious!

leprechaura:  Or even something small and square like this would be cute to cut with your sheet cake hidden away:

def dont use cold stone, unless you know for sure there is a pro cake decorator that works there. i worked at a cold stone during my high school years & was in charge of making the cakes. i’m sure they tasted delicious, but they weren’t always the prettiest lol! good luck!

If you call around to your local grocery stores, some of the in store bakeries have cake decoraters, you can see if they can help you with something! My local grocery store has an AMAZING cake artist and she’s always so helpful, they also make custom cakes, it reallyd epends on the store.
