We're doing e-pics this weekend at the beach, and mostly we'll be in jeans and nice sweaters, on the dock and walking on the beach, and going to a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.  I already HATE having my picture taken, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I had something to wear that helped smooth things a bit and hide (or give the illusion of hiding) any little pooches over my jeans/in the stomach area.  Typically this isn't really a problem, but I'm hyper-self concious about these photos because I am so critical of how I look in ALL pictures, and I think having a reliable piece of shapewear helping me out will make me feel a little more confident.

What do you love? Spanx? I've seen some shapewear at Loft? Let me know your recommendations, and if you wouldn't mind, please post links so I can read up on them!

I get all of my shapewear (including spanx) at TJMaxx for crazy awesome prices. You might want to check there first. Remember that the firmer the control you get, the less range of motion you'll have and you want to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible for your e-pics. :)

I just wore Spanx for our family photos and it helped smooth things out a bit. There was a lot for them to control and they did the trick. I bought the panty hose and cut the feet off them so they look like leggings. They might already make them like that but I didn't see them like that when I bought them.
