Thats good that yall got to enjoy that time together, even if you weren't feeling well.
About a month ago my BF and I were both home sick for a WEEK together, I definitely wanted to kill him by the end of it all lol
We have moments like that too. We feel distant and then something brings us back together. For us, it was raking the leaves on Sunday.
You just made me smile very big because tomorrow he doesn't have school so I get him all to myself all night! I can't wait for that reconnection!

I love times like those!
Last week I was sick with the flu. My FI got sick over the weekend, not the flu but still a fever and just feeling like crap. Then yesterday I end up back in the doctor's office with bronchitis. He has been home sick since Monday. And today we are both home sick.
Yesterday evening as I stepped into our home from the Target pharmacy, not feeling well, the smell of homemade chicken soup was brewing from the kitchen. And my sick man greeted me with kisses to the forehead and a nice, long hug.
We are so busy, as life tends to be, and last night, we just reconnected. It was so great. He told the story to me (again) of how we met and his side of it which I love and listened to his every word. We cuddled, watched one of our favorite shows (thanks DVR!) and it was so great. I love moments like these and I just wanted to share.
