We’re looking for the same thing! I hope someone posts. The only options I have found thus far are ones that will charge us for waiting around… looking like $1200 just to shuttle guests 10 minutes from hotel to ceremony/reception site! Esk!

I hired Park Avenue Coach, they don’t charge you to wait around!  I found them to be the most reasonable as well as the most helpful.  A lot of the companies didn’t get back to me at all or sent me insane quotes.  Here is Nancy’s info, she’s great:

Good luck!

I hired Joshua’s Limo Service for bridal party transport in Mystic and the price was very reasonable.  The company is located out of Gales Ferry 🙂

We rented school buses (also First Student). They didn’t charge us the waiting time, they basically treated it as separate trips.

So we had one trip which was: Pickup from hotel > Drop off at church (wait at church) > drop off at reception

Then a second trip which was: Pick up from reception > Drop off at hotel

The price was SUPER reasonable (compared with other shuttle companies) so we ended up having multiple buses rather than doing multiple trips.

We did have one bus which ran multiple trips as needed from the hotel to our after-party at a nearby bar.

They seemed open to negotiating trips/buses, etc when we spoke with them. The response times from them were a bit frustrating when planning, but everything worked out smoothly in the end and they were able to give us all the driver’s names and numbers in advance so we had them in case anything went wrong.

Beachy0404:  I don’t know if it’s required, but we definitely did tip all of our drivers (We had 1 for our rehearsal dinner and 3 for our wedding). The amount we tipped varied… we ran over an hour late finishing dinner at our rehearsal dinner (having too much fun!) and we ended up tipping the driver quite a bit for keeping her late. We also tipped more for the driver who made runs for our after party until 2am. The other drivers we tipped less.

For you ladies that went with First Student, how did everything turn out?
