It's just me and my MOH and we aren't paying anywhere close to $700 (and btw, you would be close to that with Stacey). Google JoAnn Robertson or message me; we are getting both hair and make-up done for less than $700 - and she travels to you.
And if you only want to do hair, it should be alot less - we are doing hair and make-up. Don't be shy to mention you are on a budget; many folks would rather have some business rather than no business.
Michiko is great and is very reasonable re: cost. She lives in Brooklyn and comes to you.

$225 for hair and make-up for the bride, $125 was what she quoted me for the others...my mother and several of the bridesmaids got theirs done too. $100 for trial.
not sure what it would be for just hair but worth checking.
James Corbett Studios (in Union Square) has been doing my hair for years. His updos start at $125.... and bridal price is case-by-case, but James is such a sweet heart. He runs a 5-star salon (veteran of William Tricomi) with much much better customer services and prices. worth a phone call!!!!

Thanks for all who gave me bridal hair recs, but they were all way out of my price range. It's just me and my mom, $700 is a bit much for just us two.
So, I am willing to go to them. I have all morning, even early afternoon. Can any suggest a good hair stylist who I can go to?
Brooklyn is best. Manhattan, parts of Queens...
