lastlastfirst:  I can only imagine. I had a  miscarriage in November and then a chemical at the end of January. It was like going through the whole thing over again. I think it is very smart of you to go to your doctor. But be pushy because you can’t keep going through this. It may be something very small that is causing it. Has he checked your progesterone levels?

lastlastfirst:  So sorry you are going through this,  it must be so hard. I know there’s a bee on the 1 yr +  boards going through the EXACT same thing. I believe she’s had 4 confirmed & possibly 5 CPs. I dont want to share her username w/o permission even though she’s a sweetie and im sure wouldn’t mind sharing her experience. I know that most of the gals are open to input from bees ttcing for less than a yr if they have issues like yours so I would encourage you to check it out and track her down.

Good luck and gorgeous avatar btw, you are beautiful!

lastlastfirst:  Are you RH negative?  That would be where I would start.  Then on to hormone levels and an US of the uterus to see if there are any obstructions or abnormalities.  PCOS can cause early miscarriages too in some cases so you definitely want to check into that.

I would definitely push for more testing. Have you had any testing for clotting disorders or have anyone in your family with a history of DVT? I only bring this up because I am heterozygous for factor V leiden (which affects around 5% of people of european descent), and if/when I get pregnant they recommend that I get lovenox shots to prevent miscarriages/blood clots.

I’ve had one chemical miscarriage and two miscarriages at around the three month mark. Please don’t beat yourself up. After I had my cm I looked it up. Apparently they are common and most don’t even know they have them except when ttc because you are checking.

I’m glad you are going to see a doctor. Again, please don’t worry yourself too much, it will do much more harm than good. And I know TTC sinc Oct 2013 feels like a long time for you guys, maybe you guys have a timeline for when you want to have kids, maybe you don’t. Things happen for a reason, and will happen when they are meant to happen. Keep trying and talking to doctors.

I wish you guys all the best and hope you get some answers and good news in the future!

I second the suggestion of talking with your doctor about getting tested for possible clotting disorders. Any number of them can cause miscarriage throughout pregnancy, and it’s just blood tests to get checked. I’m in the same boat as Westwood:  – I had a DVT earlier this year and will be on lovenox for any future pregnancy. I never knew what a huge factor blood clots were in pregnancy and early embryo viability until this happened to me.

A friend of mine went through something similar. She started taking progesterone and that helped her a lot. So sorry for all your losses. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

lastlastfirst:  I agree with pp re the 1+ thread. It’s a really supportive community. There is a girl on the 1+ thread and also one on the TTC after miscarriage thread who have experienced similar. Both threads  might provide some support for you xxx

Has your doctor put you on progesterone supplements? I had a MC in August. That and a short LP caused my OB to put me on progesterone supplements. I conceived that cycle. No issues and 27 weeks now. So that may be something to explore as well.

lastlastfirst:  …and an egg donor too! Beautiful gesture to help other women wanting to be moms. I truly hope you find the answers you are looking for and get the family you were meant to have. That beautiful act of giving will be rewarded. I know the hormonal effects can be brutal on donors and just want wish you the best !
