I think they would be beautiful together! I think they work so well in that photo because both of the colors are more jewel tones.
i think it could totally work together! are you thinking the BM dresses would be red?
I agree, I think you'd have to be a bit careful to keep the red really rich toned, but it could look awesome!
A year or two ago, on some blog I was reading, the girl had a red wedding and used peacock feathers and I thought it looked really cool. She used bright red roses.
If it was me, I would stick with jewel toned red though, like a ruby instead of a bright crimson red. I think the tone should just match the tone of the feathers. Like the picture you posted.
Thank you ladies so much for the help.. This is my dress and hair piece for the ceremony (my hair will be up for the ceremony and then let down to a form of a side ponytail for the reception) and I thought maybe changing my hair flower to something with peacocks in it for the reception would be fun. I was totally thinking a ruby color for the bridesmaids.
ABSOLUTELY - - - it will look stunning...It will open up the colors in the peacock palette, make them pop more....
I agree with previous posters. A rich, jewel-toned red would look amazing with peacock blues and feathers.
I like the idea. I think its different from most people. I think its awesome :)
I love the color scheme - it is different from what most people do with peacock. I really love that flower arrangement with the peacock feathers! The tie with the peacock feather on it is too much though. I don't know if you just put in in their for the theme or if you're actually considering that as a tie for the guys but IMO it's overkill.
Lmao yeah I agree.. I just saw the picture and liked it because it was a red tone peacock feather. My other reason for wanting to do this is my SO's favorite color is blue and mine is red.. I thought this would be the best way to incorporate both our favorite colors and make it look good. I actually just ran this by him and he really likes it. He said hes never seen anything done like this and thinks is so inventive.
I like it! Like Kitty said, though, be sure you're not taking it overboard. Good luck!!
ETA: how are the seeds doing, btw?
I like red and peacock, but use a true red instead of burgundy. I love bright red!
I'm going for black and white and red and silver. I think it is great, because black and white and silver are classy, and red is just plain my color!
@Labor- Alot of the dream board is just to show different things with the colors together. My main color is still going to be Ruby red but the peacocks will be an accent and added into all the decor. btw the plants are doing awesome!! Ill post new pics when I get home.

Ok so I have always wanted red as my main color, but lately I have really been inspired by the peacock theme. I saw this picture and was wondering if I could use red as my main color and add peacock feathers/ colors in as well.
