I don't think "normal" red would look weird, since it's you who is carrying the flowers, not the bridesmaids. If it's going to bother you though, you could just use the darker red flowers :)
I'm ordering through www.growersbox.com. I guess I could get a whole bunch of white ones and dye some of them...lol. At least I have 9 months to think about it!

I am seriously leaning towards carnations for the bouquets. My MOH is wearing a champaigne gold dress and the BM's are in Bugundy/Wine color. I'd like them to carry white carnations. Since my dress is white, I'd like to have a colored flower. Will it look weird If I have red carnations, but the BM's are in birgundy/wine?
