Here is the question, my colors are Lapis, Ivory and a bling of silver through-out. My bridesmaids will be in Lapis dresses and there bouquets will be simple Tulips, because I just love tulips.
My girlfriend years ago carried a tight beautiful bouquet of Red Roses and I still remember it to this day and I have always said….that it is what I want to have as my bouquets. Does it matter that my colors are not red? My dress is very elegant and is ivory, I will have fiance wear a red rose boutonniere.
What do you ladies think, do you think it would odd?

@Menchaca-Gallert: I think it would be fine! If that’s what you want, go for it! It would also look like a spring garden 😉 and I LOOOVE spring gardens…. oh, heck, I love flowers period! lol

Is lapis a shade of blue? What color will your bridesmaids’ tulip bouquets be? Regardless, if you’ve always imagined a red bouquet, then you should have it! Sounds lovely, and I don’t think it would be odd at all.

I’m going for it! Kind of like the wedding bee gal on the top of the page.
My colours are ivory, olive green and black. The girls are going to have gerbera daisies (ivory) and my Fiance, son and I will have roses. I always wanted the red rose ball. I don’t care that the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are green since the rest will be ivory.
It’s so classic and romantic.
I want this, but more round.

Thanks Ladies, at maplebecky…so pretty, I love it.
at babylou it is Davids Bridal Lapis color more of a dark purple and my girls are going to be holding 8 to 10 tulips that will be offwhite….I really love Tulips and could really just do my whole wedding in Tulips, but this is my mom’s bill and she wants more so I am letting her have fun with it. I am going with the Roses for sure.
