I love the idea. I plan on wearing colored shoes for my wedding, and I agree that you will likely get more use out of red shoes than white ones.

Go for it!!!! My shoes are green and I love them! My mom thought I was crazy, but I think she is learning to love them.
I think it is CRAZY that everyone thinks they have to wear white shoes! When you get ready for work and pick out a blue sweater to wear, do you also wear blue pants and blue shoes and pick out a blue purse??? NO!!! I get that the white dress and veil is traditional and has to do with purity, but I would rather have accessories (shoes/bag) that GO with it rather than MATCH it! I am wearing pink shoes and looking for a fun beaded bag that has pink and green in it.

I want something different and don't want to wear boring white colored shoes. Would reddish colored shoes be too weird? My theme color is red though.
