@SouthernBee33:

I get mine redipped about every 6 months when I take it in for my inspections. I’m surprised you haven’t dipped yours yet. Can you see the yellow gold coming through ?

You usually take it to where your FI bought it, and usually they will send it out to their jeweler ( I don’t know if they have one on site). Mine takes about a week to 10 days to come back. Most of us here wear a stand in ring while it’s gone. Atleast I do. My finger feels naked when it’s gone . lol

Depends on where you got it from.I can dip my ring whenever I feel like it basically (for free at that ) . I just have to take it in and tell them to send it away. They told me to make sure I come in atleast a month before the wedding to make sure that it comes back on time nice and shiney for the wedding 🙂

I’d call them and ask.  I find it comes back looking e ven better than before 🙂

@SouthernBee33:  my aunt gets her done yearly if you’ve gone three years without noticing a need for it I don’t think you have to do it more than that. She said she pays $75

I get my rings dipped when I feel they are looking a little dull or scratched. about once a year. My jeweler does it while I wait for $20 regardless if I bought it there or not. I guess I’m lucky seeing how much others pay and wait.

I get mine done every 3-4 months with the warranty inspection. I can definitely notice a decrease in shine and white after even a week or two. It takes an hour or two at the jeweler I got my ring from.

@SouthernBee33:  I get mine dipped about every 3 months at Jared.  I have the lifetime rhodium plan and it only takes 1 hour. 🙂

@SouthernBee33:  my jeweler did it. It didn’t take long at all. 20 minutes or so while I waited?

I’ve had my ring for almost a year and have had it re dipped three times. I’m planning on sending it in before the wedding so she’ll be perfectly shiny! FI got a lifetime plan for my ring so I get it done for free.
