As long as you feel that you’ve registered for enough guests, it’s totally fine to only register at one store.  I don’t think it’s unusual at all.  We registered at two because Williams Sonoma is a little more upscale and expensive, and we wanted to have a cheaper option with Bed Bath and Beyond.  I think Crate and Barrel is fine.

Just remember to consider your guests and if they live near a Crate and Barrel (or are comfortable with online shopping)!

We only registered at one place.  That being said we did have a smaller registry because we owned our own house for 2 years before and didn’t need a lot of the little normal things.  We also had a smaller guest list under 100 people so it was easy to have just one registry.

The only problem I would see with registering only at one store is that if someone not near the store doesn’t want to give you cash, they either have to order online or travel.

We had a friend register at BB&B, and the nearest one was a good 45 minutes away, and then we got lost.  I think she also registered at C&B, but there isn’t one on this side of the state.

I’m paranoid and would rather pick up some things in person, you know?

i would just make sure that people have a c&b close by. i know that for me, it’s not very easy to get to one so i would not be happy if that was the only place someone was registered at. other than that i think that registering at one store is fine. i was told that it makes life easier, that way you’re not constantly going through a million registries and making sure that you don’t have double of everything.
