We did- we prefered their glasses and everyday stainless steel cutlery, and it wasn’t more expensive than C&B. It was very easy- we did it entirely online.

I am registered at PB as well.  Very easy and did it all on line. And you can update or change your registry at anytime on line.

We’re registered at pottery barn mainly for linens.  If you asked me "which store is more your style" I would say "crate and barrel" but really surprisngly we’ve ended up getting so many things from Pottery Barn…they had the couch we loved and a rug.  So I guess we really are more PB people then we are Crate and Barrel.

If you weren’t already registered at macys I’d say CB is better b/c you can register for small appliances and kitchen stuff as well but since you are at macys you can get all that there.

The best part about PB is…they list who bought you what.  Makes it easy to track when you have to write "thank you’s".

we registered at PB mostly bc it’s everywhere (and C&B is far away from us and my FI’s family). we’re also registered at williams sonoma, so if someone gets us a gift card to either WS or PB, we can use it at either store.

it was also pretty easy for us to start it online and then add to it in the store.

we registered at both CB & PB… we could just pick one over the other. we basically are doing kitchen stuff and glassware from CB and linens, dishes, place settings from PB (i’m more traditional, so i gravitate toward PB, but in my opinion CB was cheaper for glassware and other nick nacks needed for kitchen.

if you do both, just make sure the registries aren’t huge, b/c then you just start looking greedy!

We chose Crate and Barrel, but my cousin and his wife registered at Pottery Barn because they had been living together for a few years and wanted more home decor type items. We’re living together, but are still using lots of hand-me-downs, so we chose Crate and Barrel for our needs. Both are great!  Good luck!

we registered at pb!  the prices are pretty similar, with some items even more affordable.  we ended up also registering at c&b too though, only because that have a bigger selection in terms of some other things like appliances and kitchen accessories.

We have registered at macy’s and target even though we have tons of time left, this makes bdays and christmas easier.  I have only kept a few things on our macys registry though because I have been having problems with them.

I was also going to register at Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel because I love odds and ends at both stores and once your wedding is over you get 10% off whats on your registery 🙂  So I am registery to get the discount because I doubt anyone in my family will get anything from either.
