Glad Crate & Barrel was fab! (I ended up registering online with them--wish I had gone in for free waffles!)
I've heard bad things about Target. We ended up not registering there just because of bad return issues in the past :(
ooooh i'm going to a C&B registry event in a couple weeks and can't wait for those waffles and mimosas!

we have had the best and worst registry experiences, i just had to share with you all...
today we registered at one of crate and barrels registry events and felt like royalty compared to our experience at target! there was fun music, mimosas, fruit and pastries, a waffle station and all. plenty of staff to help with questions. it was really fantastic and i HIGHLY recommend.
our experience at target, was lets just say, pretty bad. our first scanner broke half way through, and our second scanner had some problems uploading to the website. a few days after we originally registered i called to let them know and was told we would have to come back to the store to RE-REGISTER. i was super ticked, but went back to the store, only to find our info still stored on the gun. they had me call the target customer service # and they told me within 48 hours i would see everything there. it did end up working out, but was really dissapointed they had me resolve the issue MYSELF and was offered nothing for the inconvience.
just a heads up to everyone choosing their registry locations! it was really fun to do the actual scanning part:)
