I am doing that Macys is donating 3% of all purchases to my charity. I hope it works.

I am doing some research into formulating our registry. I have found two great web sites that permit your guests to make a purchase from a retailer and a contribution is made to your charity of choice;
WeddingChannel.com & idofoundation.com
My question is- has anyone else done this? Have you encountered any difficulties?
If someone can clarify- I am wondering is there a benefit of going through WeddingChannel.com versus Idofoundation.com?
I noticed I would have to ask my guests to go to WeddingChannel.com to search our name. and then they would see we registered for (ex. Macy's or REI or bloomingdale's) THEN make a purchase in order for a contribution to our favorite charity to be made. Isn't that complicated?
But how is the I Do Foundation any different? WeddingChannel & I do Foundation seem to be partnered...
It seems as though the percentage of charity contribution differs between retailers...
Well what is a girl to do? What experiences have you had in creating a registry that would also contribute to a charity????
