OK so I have my wedding site done through mywedding.com cause well, it was free! 🙂 and easy!
There is a spot for registry info and you can link it directly to your registries. I’ve always thought and believe you should never have your registry info out there on something you are sending out to people (invites, save the dates, etc.) BUT If someone asks, that’s one thing or if someone else is throwing a party they can include that info.
SO I ask you Bees– is it okay to have the registry info listed on your site (since well, it’s coming directly from us)?

Yes! It’s definitely okay to list it on your wedding website – just not on invitations!

It is okay for you to put registry info on the website. It is rude to have it on the invitation because that looks like you are asking for gifts, but if it’s on the website, it is there for people to find not bombarding them even if they don’t want to know.

Yes – website is perfectly fine. In the invitation or shower invites, etc. is tacky though.

Thanks for the responses! Yes, I am fully aware of the invitations etc. but didn’t know if it went as far as the website since it’s coming from us. Thank you!

Its fine to have it on your website…and I don’t think its rude or tacky to have on your invitations…depends on the formality of your event…and well, whatever you would like to do!
