I didn't really have that problem but I don't think that your FI will care! My husband doesn't really seem to care much about home decorating stuff at all so he doesn't notice a lot of things!
That was me! We registered late one night at BB&B then over the course of the next week, I was like what the heck did we register for that? So I made some changes. I kept my guy in the loop but he didn't really care.
Same here. I'm mildly obsessed with our registries, but FH doesn't really care. He's only worried that we're going to get the stuff we want before we get the stuff we need. With 250 guests, I'm not worried about a lack of gifts.
where did you all register at? my FI and I are need to register in the next couple weeks.
we registered super early so for a few months i was constantly going back and changing, almost never running things by my partner. registering was a lot more time-consuming than i thought it would be! in any case, i'm in the same boat as you, i don't think my partner will really care--the only thing i consulted him for was the flatware.
oh i'm always changing and adding things. sometimes i tell him, sometimes i don't. he never cares when i tell him, so i figure it doesn't really matter. but if he specifically picked something out, i wont change it. like our fancy table cloth, even though i'm not so fond of it, i let him pick it out because i felt like i was picking everything. it's taking a lot of self control, but the original one is still on the list.

Anybody else have problems with leaving their registries alone? My FI and I registered a couple months ago, but I keep changing things up...and I don't always remember to run it past my FI. I mean, he probably won't care, all he cared about registering for was kitchen stuff (he's into cooking) but I'm worried after our shower he's not going to recognize any of the gifts!
