We only registered at one place and no one complained.  Ours was at BBB as well and we only needed a few things because we already owned a home with the trimmings and were moving across the country so we didn’t want to move a bunch of new things.

We registered at 3 places – JCPenney, Kohls, and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

It worked for me.  But, I wish I could have just had one, honestly.  It would have been less complicated to register and keep things straight, but we’re starting from absolute nothing, so I had a LOT to register for and there were some things I liked at one place, but not at another.

I think your choice is perfect for you in your situation!  Don’t feel bad about having 1 or 5 registries!  It’s your wedding and your choice. 🙂

I think as long as you have a range of price points within your registry, and that it’s an accessible place for your guests, then you’re good with one place.

Hmmm while I think one registry is totally fine, I also like having a few options. What I think I’m doing is setting up an account at MyRegistry.com and syncing it with my Macy’s registry. My cousin did this and it worked out really well. Our old aunts and uncles could go to the store and buy off the registry, but the younger cousins and friends could just go on-line and either shop on the Macy’s registry, or buy some of the cute things she picked out from Urban Outfitters and other fun sites.

Don’t know what you guys need to buy – but just a suggestion 🙂
