Looking for suggestions for our Rehearsal Brunch/Lunch in Philly. We’re getting married the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so our rehearsal is taking place Saturday at noon. Need someplace that:
- can accommodate about 25 ppl in a private space
- offers semi-convenient parking
- is open for lunch/brunch (or can offer a lunch/brunch menu)
- is not crazy expensive
- is in an attractive part of the city (we’ve got lots of out-of-towners and I want to show them the city I love!)
Thoughts, ladies? I’ve considered XIX (potentially too pricey), Parc (but I don’t think they have private space), Farmicia, Fork, Bridget Foy’s (maybe too casual/bar-like)… any others I’m missing???
Thanks in advance!!

Cuba Libre – they can give your group the upstairs balcony area. Plough and the Stars also could give you the upstairs area.

Have you considered Maggiano’s by Reading Terminal? That’s in a fun part of the city. I had my bridal shower there and it was really nice. Very affordably priced, the food was really good, and the service was great. It was a small shower about 20 people and the private room was quite nice. I know it’s a chain, but something to consider.
Have you looked into a.kitchen in Rittenhouse? My hubby has been there for breakfast and loved it!! I’ve never been, but I’d check it out and see if they take groups. Also, Dandelion in Rittenhouse, the newest Steven Starr place was super yummy and that’s really fun atmosphere, very English Pub and quite authentic.
