My Future Father-In-Law is paying for the rehearsal dinner. Including the wedding party, photographers/videographers, musicians, and officiant etc there will be roughly about 50 people. How can I make the rehearsal dinner not so expensive? What kind of restaurants should I have it at? For example Chinese, Italian, mexican, buffet, caterer or pizza?????????

I have heard about lots of people having pizza.

We are having about 40 people at the local brewhouse that we love. We had options of buffets with chicken, pork chops, and salmon, but we’re choosing the pizza option because we think it’ll be the most fun! (and the cheapest!)

We are having ours at a brewery also! We will have a three entree selection of total bar food!! Which is $16 pp…on top of that we are hosting an open bar (breweries beer and wine) for another $16pp…so total $32 pp for a four hour event = WE SCORED!!! I think pizza would be a great idea, and who doesn’t like pizza 🙂 We also looked into several mexican restaurants and they too where very inexpensive. I would come up with a price/budget you are comfortable with and talk with the restaurant of choice event manager…many times they will work with you.

I am either going to have this at my house (cause its going to be small) and totally go to the grocery store and get some of their trays of like sandwiches, and some sides, or we’re going to this place called Cinzetti’s. it’s delicious italian, and its all buffet style, but oh so good. It’s probably my fav place to go to eat out!

We are having probably 100 people at the rehearsal and the in-laws are paying (thank goodness). They want Italian – it’ll feed a lot of people for not a lot of money. But my fiance and I have had this particular Italian (same caterer that was used for his sister’s wedding last summer) and we hate it. We want pizza! It would be easy, simple, and you can get “traditional” pizzas and not so much so to fit everyone’s tastes.

Champps in the Eastwood Towne Center is the best place to have your rehearsal dinner. There are menu items to fit every taste and the prices are reasonable. They have an outdoor pation and also a private dining room. We could not have been happier.
