I am now into the final details for my January 19th wedding and I’m getting super excited!
I’ve done a lot of planning for the wedding day but realized that I haven’t done a lot for the rehearsal dinner at this point.
My plan was to have cocktails to start, then my fiance and I will make a quick speech to thank everyone for coming and for their involvement in the wedding and then ask them to be seated for dinner. At some point we will hand out gifts to those participating in our ceremony. I wasn’t planning on doing much else since we’ll have a longer thank you speech at the wedding.
What are you doing for your rehearsal dinner? Anything fun you’d like to share?

My in laws planned it, so I didn’t have much to do with it. They cooked baked potatoes, different meats for sandwiches, and had a ton of salads and drinks. We didn’t do any speeches, but MIL had us open a gift so we could use it at the wedding. It was an autographable photo collage of DH and I.

That pretty much sounded like my RD. We ate, mingled with guests, gave a short speech, and gave out our wedding party gifts. It’s nice to have an informal event where everyone can relax before the wedding.

We are just having finger foods…..I went way over budget, so that’s what we are sticking too, but it will be good finger foods….lol.
