So I bought a dress a few months ago with the intention of wearing it to my rehearsal dinner, but that was when I was planning on having a summer wedding. Now that I’m having a winter wedding, would it be weird to wear the same dress to my rehearsal dinner? It’s a nude-pink color, strapless, with an empire waist, made of a very flowy material and has a little embellishment near the bustline. It’s close to the pic below, but a little longer – I just don’t know if it would look too summery and inappropriate to wear in the winter. What do you guys think? Yay or nay? Thanks Bees!

Perhaps your accessories can give it a more winter feel? Maybe wear it with tights?

I agree with the commentor above- you could certainly add tights! And maybe a cute blazer as well. Perhaps a dark lip would winterize your look as well. Also, more “statement” like jewelry- a chunky necklace or bracelet.

Thanks girls! I just didn’t want people to think, “Why is she wearing that?” the whole night, haha.

Tights and a shrug or shawl?

Oh that can easily be winterized.. Black fur shrug, chunky neckleace and black pumps — Bam!

Blazer. Totally add a blazer and you’ll look fabulous. Love that dress.
